Our Educational Theatre Summer Camp is broken down into three tiers: CM Little Kids(4 Years Old – Six Years Old), CM Kids (Second Grade through Fifth Grade), and CM Juniors (Fifth Grade through Eighth Grade). For this year, the CM Kids and Juniors will be together! 

CM Little Kids
In-Person Camp

(July 7th to August 18th / T/W 2:30PM-3:30PM / 4yrs through entering 1st grade)

Our beginner summer camp program will give Campers an introduction to theater arts that culminates in a themed
showcase of their work. This class is designed to achieve three main goals through theater arts: inspire creativity and imagination through play; instill self-esteem and pride; foster an appreciation for teamwork and community.

Showcase: Tuesday, August 18th at 3PM.

Fee: $400
Early Bird (by June 30): $370

Fee includes $100 non-refundable registration fee.

CM Kids & Juniors
In-Person Camp

(July 13th to August 19th / M/T/W 9:00AM-2:00PM / entering 2nd Grade through 14yrs)

Our main summer camp program is designed for children of all levels to work together in presenting a themed showcase based on the material they’ve learned over 4 weeks. Campers will be split into groups by age and rotate between acting, music, dance and a theater workshop that culminates each day with all campers coming together.

Showcase: Tuesday, August 18th & Wednesday, August 19th at 6PM.

Fee: $650
Early Bird (by June 30): $620

CM Kids & Juniors
NEW! Virtual Camp

(July 6th to July 29th / M/T/W 10:00AM-1:00PM / entering 2nd Grade through 14yrs)

Our new virtual camp program will feature three 40 minute performing arts classes per day with a rotating faculty of teachers as well as built-in screen-time breaks.  At the conclusion of virtual camp, campers will present a virtual themed showcase for parents and friends.

Virtual Showcase: Friday, July 31st & Saturday, August 1st.

Fee: $149

Fee includes $49 non-refundable registration fee.

Erica Giglio-Pac

Erica Giglio Pac holds a M.A. in Educational Theatre from New York University, an Advanced Certificate in Educational Leadership & Administration, and a B. F. A. in Musical Theater Performance from the University at Buffalo. Erica spent ten years in the NYC Department of Education teaching Musical Theatre in the classroom and is in her first year as an administrator at Long Island High School for the Arts. Some of her favorite CMPAC performance credits include: Daniela (In the Heights), Madame Thenardier (Les Miserables), Maggie Jones (42nd Street), Paulette (Legally Blonde), Sister Mary Patrick (Sister Act) and Ursula (Little Mermaid). Erica has enjoyed performing at the Tridad Theatre in NYC (Vagina Monologues), ArtPark (World Goes Round & Cole), The Players Theatre (Penguins Are Mad Scary), singing the national anthem for the Mets at Citi Field, and performing her own stand-up comedy act at the King’s Head Comedy Club in downtown London.

Jennifer Roller – Audition Tips & Tricks

Jennifer Roller is a former Long Island performer, Music Director and educator who is thrilled to be returning to CMPAC as a Workshop Teacher this summer. Jennifer has spent the last several years traveling around the world, working with several different cruise lines and entertainment companies. She has been seen her audition techniques at work in the real world and is excited to bring her tips and tricks to CMPAC.

Joe Naftal

Joe Naftal

Joe Naftal is a freelance lighting designer for theatre, dance, and opera. He has taught production classes across the country and has a book that has been published in the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia. Joe is a proud member of United Scenic Artists and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and serves on the Board of Directors for CM Performing Arts Center and Robin Becker Dance. He holds a BFA in Design & Production from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.

Abby May

Abby May

Abby May is currently the Lighting Supervisor for Ailey II. While Abby is not with Ailey II she is a freelance lighting designer for dance and theatre. She also is the Associate Lighting Designer at City Springs Theatre Company in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Abby has a BFA in Lighting Design from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
