Educational Theatre Classes

Our Educational Theatre Classes are broken down into three tiers: CM Little Kids (4 Years Old-First Grade), CM Kids (Second Grade through Fifth Grade), and CM Juniors (Sixth Grade through Eighth Grade).

CM Little Kids
Fall Class

This beginners class gives Students an introduction into theatre arts that culminates in a themed showcase of their work.
Classes Meet: Wednesdays 5PM-6PM

Fee: $350
Fee includes $100 non-refundable registration fee.
CM Kids
Fall Classes
This class is designed to give students of all levels an overall education in musical theatre, from audition preparation to the final product.
Classes Meet: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30-6:30PM
Class Dates: TBD
Tech Week: TBD
Performance Dates: TBD
Fee: $500
Returning Student: $480
Fee includes $100 non-refundable registration fee.
All of our classes will have an Audition Workshop on the first day. Our Teaching Staff will coach you through the Audition Process. All Students should prepare a song of their choice that is within the style of the show.
CM Juniors
Fall Classes
This class is more in-depth for students of all levels. It includes acting, dance and music, as well as theater history and technical theater.

Teaching Staff

Sarah Minto – CM Kids, Juniors, and Teens
Sarah Minto was raised in the CM Educational Program. When she was 8 years old, she started in the CM Kids classes. She never missed a session during the school year or a summer camp. She continued through CM Teens and was excited to become a CIT (Counselor in Training). Sarah is now the dance teacher for all the CM Kids, Juniors and Teens. She recently graduated from St Joseph’s University with a degree in Child Studies. She started her full-time career as an elementary school teacher at a location school. Sarah loves helping her students build confidence while having a great time learning all things theater!

Taylor Duff – CM Little Kids
Taylor Duff is a performer and choreographer on Long Island. She has performed locally since the age of 4 at theaters all over Long Island including Bayway Arts Center, John W. Engeman Theater, and CM. Additionally, Taylor has danced since she was a child both recreationally and competitively and was captain of her high school kickline team. She also choreographs school shows in various Long Island school districts as well as teaching dance and choreographing for competition for children ages 3 through 17. Taylor loves working with children and is currently a child study major at St. Joseph’s University. She looks forward to working with your children and exposing them to her love of theater and performance arts.
